 Blackfoot Piecemaker's Quilt Club
Held at:  Blackfoot Christian Fellowship
Blackfoot, Idaho

President, Serena Yancey, opened the meeting by greeting members.  The Charity Quilts were on display and will be delivered in August.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Quilt Show to be held at Jefferson County Fairgrounds
August 21 & 22, 2026

Eastern Idaho State Fair:  Alice Elison gave us the inspiration to enter our quilts at the 
Dates for entry: Friday, Aug 28, 11-8pm and Saturday, Aug 29, 11-5pm

Pickup:  Sunday, Sept 13, 10-4pm

QUILT RAFFLE PACKET:  Pickup your raffle ticket packet to sell tickets to win the beautiful quilt made by members of the guild.  The proceeds from the raffle go towards local charities and materials for charity quilts.

Elizabeth Baskets:  Needed donations at this time are Diapers (size 1 & 2); mother gifts

Raffle Blocks:  Kathy Dietrich showed the Ladder Block from scraps.  Be careful not to add a dark or black color in the inner ladder strips as it will take away the effect of the black side of the ladder.  Instructions are in your red member folder.  You could be the August winner.  

The winner of the Double Star July raffle block draw has some great blocks for a new creation.

BRING and BRAG: Many beautiful creations from the talented guild members.  Many quilts were machine and hand quilted, appliqued wool thread keepers, fun quilted jackets and purses.  Each project came with a memory story of the creation.  Well done ladies.
