Connie Tabor did a demonstration on a
Disappearing 4 Patch
Connie started with 6" squares, two colors that
have a high degree of contrast. Sew together in
a block. This makes a 10 1/2 inch unfinished block.
Then she measured 1 1/2 inches from the seams on
each side and cut them. You will have 9 pieces.
Now you switch the solid squares on the
outside corners and rotate the center 1/4 turn.
And sew together
This is a Scrappy disappearing 4 patch.

Elaine McNair has three Great Grandchildren
Elaine McNair has three Great Grandchildren
due in the next couple of months. So she
let them pick out the fabric for a baby
quilt, skirt and bumper pads.
So after she finished what they
picked out, she made quilts
for each of them that she picked out
the fabrics. She still has one to go.
Sorry Elaine, I didn't notice I
didn't get this one turned.
I guess you needed to lay down.
I vote Elaine Grandma of the Year!

Double Four Patch
These are Eunice Fowler's show and tell.
In Iowa it is popular to have Barn Quilts. She
really wanted a barn quilt, but there was a problem.
She doesn't have a barn. She said these Barn Quilts are
2 sheets of 4' x 8' plywood painted like a quilt block.
She decided to make hers 4' x 4'. She made four so she
could change with the seasons.
This what it looks like on her garage.
Her garge face the highway.
BEAUTIFUL!
