Madge Lindsay presented the block of the month "Colorado".
Madge Lindsay introduced her daughter from Rexburg, Lori Robertson. She grew up in Blackfoot and learned to sew in the 4-H program. She has been using Leaders and Enders for her sewing projects with great success. It is a technique used by quilter Bonnie K. Hunter in her book "Adventures with Leaders and Enders".
Lori says, "I can't throw anything away" and usually ends up with scraps from everyone. She does say that she doesn't keep anything less than an inch.
She showed many examples of her different quilts:
A thank you to Joyce Brower for organizing the raffle quilt sales
