Blackfoot Piecemaker's Meeting

Candy High was out of town so
Kathryn Evans conducted the meeting 


Madge Lindsay announced the Antiques Day on Aug 9
There will be an antique quilt show at the 
Senior Citizens Center in Blackfoot




Rita Harris is co-chairing (with Joyce Brower) the Club Raffle Quilt.
She announced that the club will be selling raffle tickets at the fair.
Also, the members will be selling their packets of tickets before the fair.
Tickets are $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.





Kathryn Evans showed many items that are handy in your sewing room.







Lori Jarmin - told the basic guidelines for make a Quilt of Valor.
She challenged members to make one in the next year.
We will make sure a deserving military person gets it.

Annual Raffle quilt project was chaired by
Connie Tabor. Club members made the blocks.
 Shelley Day quilted it.
 




PHDs -(Projects half finished), were due in March
Awards/certificates were handed out to those who completed their projects.
All who were brave enough to sign up for the PHD challenge
were given a package of needles.
