Julia Wareing welcomed everyone to the
Trunk Show and Potluck dinner

Julia presented a $2,700. check to the John Lysek for the Communty Gardens

Next year the community gardens will be devoting space for the food bank.
They had trouble this year with someone stealing the produce.  They will be trying               to get a better system to prevent that next year.

Stacey McClellan donated the roast beef for the pot luck, Lori Jarmin made
the rolls and everyone else brought potatoes, salad and desserts.

The
tables were decorated by the board.  Everyone received an eraser
and a little bag of candy?  Why an eraser?  It gets out the fleece batting
out of your cutting mat.

The
TRUNK SHOW
was presented by
LeAnn Price
of Shelley,
her sister Kathy Olkowski and a friend, Des Mecham on Vintage sheets.
LeAnn said that Des has the great ideas and then she is the doer and
gets them made.

She finds the vintage sheets from the DI, yard sales, estate sales, grandma's closets and friends.  She said they are cotton/polyester and she likes
to mix them up with jelly rolls and layer cakes.

A lot of times the bottom
sheet is worn out in the middle, but you have all the fabric around the edge to
be used.

You can also use tablecloths.
