CHECK IT ALL OUT
Julia reminded everyone that our April meeting will be the Chinese auction,
so bring your items to the April 12th Nickel quilt class or early
(11:30 -noon) on April 26th.  That will give her time to get everything ready.

We had a great time at Kim Diehl's class.  We had 33 at the class.
She had pictures of her new fabric line that will be in stores
this coming November.

Remember the Nickel Quilt class is April 12th.  Starting at 9:30am,
so come early to set up your sewing machine.

Sweat Shirt jacket class will be May 3rd.

Lori Jarmin needs everyone's raffle quilt blocks turned in.
Next week they will start putting the quilts together.
You can drop off at her house.

Sherry Powers from the Pocatello Valley Quilt Guild
joined us and invited to their Quilt Show on
May 11-12 at the ISU Pond Student Union Ballroom.
There are classes by Rita Hutchens ($30) and a
luncheon /trunk show $25.
There will be a silent auction and raffle tickets for the quilt.
and venders.  The charge is $5 for admission.

Demo
by Julia Wareing

This is a wood folding table from
Walmart under $9.  Add a couple
layers of cotton batting or
silver backheat batting and then
staple on an old towel and
then make a cover you can
remove.  Works GREAT for those
sewing classes!! Thanks Julia!

BAG CHALLENGE
If  you got your bag done you
got a fat quarter, if you didn't
get it done, you have to
pay five (5) fat quarters.
Julia was the first to pay her
five fat quarters.  The rest of you
didn't show up.  You still have to
pay your five fat quarters!!!

Farm Fresh Flowers
Quilt
by Kim Diehl

This quilt has two parts, pieced blocks
and
applique flower blocks.

 We got demonstrations on
on Kims techniques

Another beautiful quilt that is going to
be in her new book

We watched Kim then she would turn us
lose to try the technique.

We had a full house with 30
taking the class. Look at
these busy bee attendees.

Now, Who will get their quilt done first?
