Julia gave some door prizes out to three lucky quilters.

Serena Yancey reported that Mary Woods' quilt she made
for the Relay for Life sold for $1050.  Jason Moulton,DMV
bought the quilt and donated to the Adams family.

****AUCTION****
The board met and cleaned out the old books
in the Guild's Library.  Connie Tabor
was our auctioneer.  We had lots of
fun and made money for new books! 
Thanks everyone!
I heard we made around $400. Wow!


 Raffle Quilt
Joyce Brower passed out tickets to sell for
this beautiful quilt.  The tickets are 6/$5 or $1 each.
The money from the quilt this year will go to
Meals on Wheels.  Checks need to be written
out to Blackfoot Piecemakers,  The drawing
is the last night of the fair.

son's wedding

I seem to have lost the picture of Diantha Hatch
She didn't have her quilts, since her son took both
and she gave the baby quilt to the new baby.

 Valarie Lemas' purse for a friend's b-day.  She
made three bags adding zippers and pockets.

 Connie Tabor's quilt she made from a class
in SLC at the Quilting Machine Class.

Connie's quilt she finished from a block exchange
from '96-'97.  See, it is never too late to finish
those projects.
 Connie's quilt for the Civil War Replicate
that are part of project that gives a quilt
to the fallen soldier's family. Eastern Idaho
is behind in this project and we are going
to have a sew day this fall.  This is a
National project.  What a great cause.
