Connie Tabor showed FIVE of the quilts that will be taught
in her class on February 12th.
Those that had already signed up received a handout with instructions
on what to bring to the class.

The class on March 5th, being taught by Julia Wareing is a pattern from the Moda Love blog tour using layer cakes, charm packs and mini charm packs.

Coming in April will be an applique class taught by Madge Lindsay and Connie Tabor. Methods such as needle turn, ruching, and broderie perse will be taught.
Madge Lindsay tells new members about the Elizabeth Baskets and the need for baby quilts, onesies and receiving blankets.
Editha VanOrden - our librarian - says we are not checking out books and wonders if we need to keep the library. This is to be discussed at the next board meeting.
Lori Jarmin introduced our next raffle quilt to be raffled at the Eastern Idaho State Fair. It is a quilt by Pat Speth from her book Nickel Quilts.
Julia Wareing made the blocks to show what colors to use for the blocks. The fabrics should be Kansas Troubles, Thimbleberries and Civil War.
