Blackfoot Piecemaker's Quilt Club

Announcements:

October 26 meeting  - trunk show by Karen Price
                                 showing of antique quilts
November 30 meeting   - Christmas Party 

Joyce Brower reminded us to turn in our money and tickets
and passed around signups for the fair raffle quilt. 
The Eastern Idaho State Fair dates are Sept 1 thru Sept 9.
Club members receive credit for making a block, taking a packet of tickets to sell and 
selling tickets at the fair.  They will then have a chance to win prizes at our Christmas party.

Editha VanOrden is our club librarian 
We have a really nice selection of quilting books which can be 
checked out for 2 months at a time.






In March we started the "Crayon Challenge"
Club members took 2 crayons out of bag
and were challenged to make something out of those colors.

Candy High did a demo on using crayons and fabric to make beautiful blocks/quilts.
