Today we had a Charity Quilt sew day. We met at 9:30 at the Lutheran church
and everyone brought their fabric scraps and we started piecing the scraps
together tomake some darling quilts.
Some of us sewed, some cut and other's pressed.
Therewere about 30-35 members present.
Julia Wareing gave a demonstration on pillow cases and Joyce Lewis instructed
us on how to make a quick baby quilt.
The club provided a lunch of subway sandwiches and everyone
brought munchies to share.

We are still getting a final count on how many quilts were completed,
but I would guess at least 12-15. Can't wait to see them all.

spending the day with friends, making quilts and eating chocolate!
We were busy little bees. See what we can accomplish when we all work together.
